The pokedex-game started out as a simple practice for using and handling api calls, but then quickly turned into an idea to make it into a game that would be enjoyable to play. The game has 3 modes that are being worked on, the first is an actual pokedex made purely of CSS. It helps the player to learn about a Pokemon. Second game mode is to try and guess what Pokemon it is based off of just the stats to test player knowledge. And the last mode is to guess a pokemon based on the image, a throwback to the original "Whos that pokemon" played back in the original anime.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a Software Developer with experiences ranging from stabilizing and maintaining outdated infrastructures to building modern software. I have mainly worked for companies that have been around for a long time but due to their root infrastructures, they struggle to scale up. I have helped these companies by providing direct support for the users, fixing bugs reported by the user, and writing documentation. Working in smaller companies with small development teams has taught me to work with limited resources and time and molded my experience to learn on the fly.

  • Working with a small team of 4 developers, designed, architected, and built a software utilizing MERN and Typescript.
  • Creating migration scripts by utilizing Node/Express to move over our data from our old MSSQL to the new MongoDB.
  • With the Adobe Flash Player ending its service by the end of 2020, was tasked in replacing the client facing software with a more modern React framework.
